The Balletto Story is one of inspiration and triumph. This family owned and operated winery in Russian River started as a produce farm. As the Father of the family passed away unexpectedly in 1977, the son, John Balletto took over. There were many reasons for transitioning to growing grapes instead of produce, and as time has moved, Russian River has been proven to be one of California’s AVA’s for Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir.
