Aurora Sherry

The picture on the bottle is a 1904 portrait of Aurora Ambrosse Lacave as a young mother, made by Gaspar Camps prior to her widowhood in 1911. Aurora was later in charge of her husband’s bodega and continued to produce great Manzanilla named in her honour. A pioneering female executive in the sherry trade.

Made from free run juice of selected grapes, from our best vineyards. The vineyards are grown on sandy loam soils, granitic and slightly acidic.Appellation of origin: D.O. Rías Baixas.

Evodia is an exciting project in the Denominacion de Origen Calatayud, hailed as one of Spain's most progressive and promising wine growing regions. Calatayud is distinguished by its prevalence of high elevation vineyards planted to the Garnacha variety. In fact, it boasts the highest in the entire country. 

WINE #4 DIAZ BAYO 15 MESES

100% Tempranillo from La Viñota, a 60-year-old clay parcel at 950 meters elevation and El Rubial, a 40-year-old clay and limestone parcel at 920 meters. Viticulture is sustainable and all vineyards are dry-farmed. Aged 12 months in French oak and 12 months in bottle, balsamic and mineral/spice notes accent fresh and focused fruit concentration.
